AREA 51 UPDATE - 8/7/00:
Jacuzzi Update: Our in-house electrician (uh, that would be Lou-Dog) has wired the jacuzzi so we now have an ON switch. He, um, also connected the front sprinklers to a timer while he was at it. The heater is said to have shipped from the bay area today. We are hoping that it arrives no later than Friday. Lou is anxious to get the family tub up and running, as are us all.
We need input! Feed us your opinions! Come to Area 51 for Current Events night. There is plenty to talk about seeing as the political campaigns are receiving more and more media attention and Gore just made a special announcement this week regarding his choice for VP. A jedi knight passed away very recently as well. And to top off, you can buy a Britney Spears/N'Sync CD at McDonald's for only $5! I know! What are we waiting for? (PK wants to be Britney Spears. Heck, Tom wants PK to be Britney Spears). Speaking of current events, Ron Villaescusa is now working at Dell Computers!
Tom's 34th birthday is coming up. What does Tom want (other than a new skull)? Well, a vacation would be nice. But since he is in the groove and on the move, we'll have to come up with something else. We'll be celebrating T-Bone's day in a modest way, but then there is the Obnoxious day. Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 2nd. Details coming soon. For those of you who want to know what the Obnoxious Party is, well... there really is no explanation. It's many things rolled into one really great event. The party was put on the map back in 1997 and has been a tradition ever since. You really won't want to miss it.
