AREA 51 UPDATE - 5/21/00:

Well, everyone is up in arms about the controversial question posed on last weeks Area 51 update.

Poll results: Should Friday Family Nights be discontinued?

42% = Squeeze me? Baking powder? No way!
21% = Yeah, it was gettin' kinda boring.
35% = Other: Have it on Saturday. Have a new & exciting activity each week. No comment.

If you clicked "Other" and entered a comment that was not listed above, please let me know. It may be a glitch at www.freepolls.com. They've been having issues lately.

As for Friday Family Night, we think that we will host them on special occasions such as birthdays & holidays. There will be plenty of other reasons to party at Area 51 and we will bring forth those opportunities through the Area 51 updates.

Such as the Wicks 4 Kicks party this Wednesday, May 24th at 7:00pm! We'll have drinks and dessert for your enjoyment! Hope to see you there!

Another one of those opportunities is the Memorial Day BBQ on May 28th. Hey! That's next Sunday! Mark your calendars and show up around 12:00pm (noon). Bring anything you want grilled. Don't forget the buns! We have plenty of condiments. Also, bring something to drink. Oh yeah, and wear your favorite hawaiian outfit.

Our own Ron Villeascusa is playing with his cover band at the Balboa Yacht Club on Thursday, May 25th at 7:00pm. The BYC is located at 1801 Bayside Dr., Corona Del Mar, CA 92625 (949) 673-3515. Hope you can make it!
