AREA 51 UPDATE - 5/7/00:
Ah, yes! Now that's the spirit! If you didn't make it to Area 51 for the Cinco de Pique Party, you missed out on yet another monumental event. For those of you who did attend, you were quickly reminded of the Tom & Patty Show party capabilities. Those of you who made this your first trip to Area 51... well, now you know. There is no turning back. You have been assimilated into the Area 51 Collective. Thank you all for coming and creating a phenominal atmosphere. Everyone had a great time, especially the Birthday Girl. The stories from this event will not be published on the web site in order to protect the guilty. You'll need to join us on Family Friday Night for the complete review. All we can tell you is that the poloroids captured everything perfectly. <evil laugh>
On a sad note, two more friends are leaving AES on a quest for more money. Our very own Dennis Stone will grace us with his presence for just one more week before taking flight. In our area in the building, we went from a headcount of 6 to 4 within a months time. Along with this departure, Wilenia James will also be taking the leap. We will miss them both terribly. We wish you both the best of luck in your future endeavors!
Ironically, before he even had a chance to read last week's update, Skippy phoned home. He was notified of the web poll and admitted that he was doing "all of the above". However, our voters were a little more critical. Skippy thinks he might have time to come out for a visit in July. Little did he know there was a direct connection between his salary increase and the amount of work that would be required to achieve that salary.
